PAINTED CHROME ORANGE TRIPOD CANDLE STAND 18th CENTURY

The simplicity of the design as well as the original paint  of this 18th century candle stand translates into a beautiful and unique piece of art. PAINTED CANDLE TABLE 1790-1830

A fine looking 1790-1830 candle stand with strong spider legs and a well turned urn column. The red paint appears to be original with  appropriate ware throughout. Note the cutouts on the four corners of the top  and the dovetailing of the legs into the column. There is an fine old repair on one of the legs where it is attached to the column (see photo). (ATKE)

QUEEN ANNE MAPLE DROP LEAF TABLE ca:1750

A beautiful American (probably New England) ca:1750 maple Queen Anne drop leaf table. This table has a pegged top and legs, wonderful Queen Anne feet, a carved skirt on the ends, swing legs and a nice oval shape when opened.There is an age crack on the top about 2/3 of the way down. Child's Blanket Chest 19th Century

A wonderfully constructed child's blanket chest with the original mustard paint. The chest features original pulls and hinges. The drawer is dovetailed and chamfered. The turned feet are extensions of the corners. The moulding on the three sides of the top is incised which enhances the the look of the chest. It is a Montgomery County, Pa. chest which was presented to Dorinda E. Reiff when she was 10 years old. Dorinda Reiff was the daughter of Benjamin Reiff and Lydia Rittenhouse of "Rittenhouse Square" in Philadelphia. Note the writing on inside of the top in the photo. The chest is in excellent condition and has never been touched. (LAETE)

WAGON SEAT CA:1770

This form served as a settee at home or an extra seat for the wagon.Note the sturdy posts and thin slats. Note also, the acorn finial and the vase turnings on the front posts. The seat is real rush and the wagon seat is completely  mortised and pegged. Excellent condition.(DCKE)

UNUSUAL THREE DRAWER STAND ca:1890

This is a very unusual but attractive and functional three drawer stand with wonderful patina.  The three dovetailed (front and back) drawers are large and can hold numerous items both large and small. As a result, it can be used in almost any room in a home and the height (30 3/4") provides a lot of flexibility. The stand features attractive mortised and pegged  turned legs as well as mortised drawer supports. While the pulls have been replaced, the stand is in excellent condition with no repairs.(CATL)
