PAINTED CANDLE TABLE 1790-1830

A fine looking 1790-1830 candle stand with strong spider legs and a well turned urn column. The red paint appears to be original with  appropriate ware throughout. Note the cutouts on the four corners of the top  and the dovetailing of the legs into the column. There is an fine old repair on one of the legs where it is attached to the column (see photo). (ATKE)

QUEEN ANNE MAPLE DROP LEAF TABLE ca:1750

A beautiful American (probably New England) ca:1750 maple Queen Anne drop leaf table. This table has a pegged top and legs, wonderful Queen Anne feet, a carved skirt on the ends, swing legs and a nice oval shape when opened.There is an age crack on the top about 2/3 of the way down. Note the butterfly (see photo) on the bottom of the top. Note also the professional repair (see photo) on the top.(BRETE)

WAGON SEAT CA:1770

This form served as a settee at home or an extra seat for the wagon.Note the sturdy posts and thin slats. Note also, the acorn finial and the vase turnings on the front posts. The seat is real rush and the wagon seat is completely  mortised and pegged. Excellent condition.(DCKE)

An attractive 18th century maple armchair with extended curved arms, sausage and ring turnings on all four posts, vase shaped arm supports, four formed slats, strong egg shaped finials, splint seat and double stretchers. ca:1840 SEAT TABLE WITH TRACES OF RED PAINT

This is a great looking ca: 1840 seat table with mortise and tenon construction, square nails, hand forged screws and a scrubbed two board top. As expected, if one looks at the base and under the top the traces of the original red paint are extensive. The height of the table (28 1/2") and the fact that the table it is a round seat table allows at least 4-6 people to sit around it with no problems. The table is in excellent condition with no repairs or damage. (LEDETE)

WORK TABLE ca:1820

A  ca:1820 work table with  mortised and pegged stretchers that exhibit appropriate ware.  A pegged (some later nails) one board scrubbed top that has age cracks reflective of age and use. A mustard base with pegged legs. The table is in good condition with  no apparent repairs. (AKTE)

 WALNUT TABLE -  EARLY 19th CENTURY

This is a wonderful early 19th century walnut table with two drawers. The dovetailed and mortised base retains its original glue blocks, square nailed, nicely turned legs and has two deep dovetailed drawers. The three board top uses butterfly joinery and it is quite attractive. The table is in excellent condition and walnut is always beautiful (BTEEDE) Dimensions: 56 1/4”L x 35 1/2”W x 28 1/4”H

CHILD'S SLAT-BACK TABLE CHAIR ca:1740

The simple turned post design indicates the chair was made in the 18th century. Note the ware on the stretchers, the replaced seat with square nails, the  original arms and the nicely turned finial. With the exception of the seat, the chair is all original and in good condition. (LDAK)

FOUR TIER CORNER SHELF-19th CENTURY

A substantial corner shelf  with four graduated shelfs ranging in size from 14 1/2" to
7 1/2" (from corner to edge of shelf). The reddish-brown shelf is nicely designed and well made with square nails (some round nails added later). The shelf requires a 14 1/2" wall and is in excellent condition. (DAETE)
