PIGGIN ca: 1700-1800

This a well made great looking staved bucket  (called a piggin) having one stave extending higher as a handle. The piggin was often used as a dipping vessel or a grain measure. Note the hole in the extended stave foe hanging or to aid in pouring. Note a small crack on the upper band which does not extend the entire width. Otherwise, the piggin is in excellent condition.((LDLK)

PAINTED STAVED BUCKET 1700-1850

A well made old (1700-1850) painted staved bucket in old  blue paint over red. This bucket was probably made by a cooper since it is signed on the bottom. Note the wonderful construction of the hoops which are made from saplings. This is a well made bucket in outstanding condition. (LETE)

TOLE WARE CANISTER 19th CENTURY

Canisters of tin were made in a variety of sizes and shapes. This oval canister is nicely decorated on all sides and on the hinged lid. Tole Ware Coffee Pot

A hooked-spout, raised base Tole Ware coffee pot. The red and mustard floral design with the mustard band at the top provides a vibrant but primitive design. While there is some lost of color, the overall condition is good considering age and apparent use.(HEDE)
