EARLY SPAULDING BROS. CLUB and BALL MAKERS SIGN

This is an early golf sign advertising Spaulding golf clubs and balls. The golf club attached to the sign has a wooden shaft and a very primitive  (hand made?)  head on the club. The club came out of a private home and the owner was told it came from a golf club in Massachusetts. The sign is 45 3/4"L and 13 1/2"W and is in excellent condition. (ADKE)

TOLEWARE TEA CADDIE-19th CENTURY

A 19th century original paint decorated covered tea canister with floral decoration. The paint is in excellent condition considering age and use. As you can see from the photos the floral decoration has retained its color and design. The canister has one small dent. Otherwise, it is in outstanding condition. (TKE)

PAINTED STAVED BUCKET 1700-1850

A well made old (1700-1850) painted staved bucket in old  blue paint over red. This bucket was probably made by a cooper since it is signed on the bottom. Note the wonderful construction of the hoops which are made from saplings. This is a well made bucket in outstanding condition. (LETE)

TOLE WARE CANISTER 19th CENTURY

Canisters of tin were made in a variety of sizes and shapes. This oval canister is nicely decorated on all sides and on the hinged lid.
