Tole Ware Coffee Pot

A hooked-spout, raised base Tole Ware coffee pot. The red and mustard floral design with the mustard band at the top provides a vibrant but primitive design. While there is some lost of color, the overall condition is good considering age and apparent use.(HEDE)

EARLY 19TH CENTURY STOOL in OLD GREEN PAINT

A well made and very sturdy stool in old green paint. Note the great dovetails joining the top and the legs. Note also the carrying handle and the exquisite arch design of the legs. Some square nails were added at a later time. The condition is outstanding. (GMAR)

REDWARE-RIGHT HANDED PITCHER

This early incised sgraffito redware right- handed pitcher has a nice flower-leaf design. While there is some breakdown of the white glaze on the interior and rim, the pitcher has no cracks or repairs. (EHK)

19th CENTURY RECTANGULAR MIRROR

This is a delightful little mirror that appears to be dug out with a nailed border which holds the mirror in place. The mirror is old and may be original. Lots of oxidation that only comes with age. (LETE)

18th CENTURY SPOON RACK

This early spoon rack came from a collection in Texas. The owner did a significant amount of research on this piece and the wood tested American tulip and also determined that it was probably made in New Jersey. Note the remnants of reddish paint on the spoon rack, the mortised hanger through the spoon rack and the cut-out behind the spoon holders for possible use by other implements (knives etc.). Note also the early 19th century repairs. It should also be pointed out that the rack was never painted and it retains a great old surface. Unique piece in outstanding condition. (HOTE)

An eight drawer ca:1820 apothecary with burled veneer fronts on drawers. This apothecary has a dovetailed case, dovetailed drawers (front and back and original finish. Some of the pulls have been replaced with hand carved pulls.The overall condition is outstanding.

BIBLICAL SAMPLER -BY MARY ANN MORGAN-DATED 1894

A beautiful biblical sampler with 6 bible verses signed Mary Ann Morgan age 14 and dated 1894. Mary Ann Morgan lived from 1880 -  1969 in London,Llansteffan, and Dyfed West Wales. She was the daughter of John Morgan and granddaughter of Carmarthen Maltster. She married Arthur Baker (goldsmith of London) in 1899.
Note the extensive work on the border which includes trees, birds,  flowers, dogs, and numerous geometric forms. Note also the extensive use of color and excellent condition  of the sampler. (DCETE)

   PAINTED WOODEN OVAL BOX-GERMAN- EARLY 19th CENTURY

A beautiful German 19th century oval bentwood box with lapped sides laced together with thin strips of wood. This covered box has retained its original paint decoration, the top painted with a scene of a man and his dog, with German inscription in white painted around the edge, (purportedly translated “my dog, the trusted animal enjoys bringing back to me lost items”, the sides with polychrome flowers.While the box is in wonderful condition, there is some minor wear and loss on the box. An early golf advertising sign with with a wooden shaft golf club attached. The sign is in great condition and measures 45 3/4"L and 13 1/4"W. The sign was found in a private home and the owner was told it came from a golf club in Massachusetts.
