BIRD BROILER/TRIVET 1780-1810

This formal English design features a wooden handle, penny feet, an interesting adjustable three prong fork, an intricate brass top and front hooks for attaching to a low fender or other frame. The overall condition is excellent. (BLTK)

RAM'S HEAD TRIVET 19th CENTURY

A great looking ram's head trivet which is nicely made with a delicate look. The handle is mortised into the body of the trivet and moves from left to right. The overall length is 9"and is 4"wide and13/8"high. Outstanding condition. (LDHE)

PAINTED DOUGH BOX: 1780-1800

An 18th century dough box that could sit on the table top or counter. This six board dough box has the original red paint, rose head and square nails (the square nails were probably added at a later time) , applied handles on each end and a handle on the lid which permits easy observation and acts as a batten to prevent warping. It should be noted that the lid is fitted to sit inside the dough box for a nice fit. All original and in great condition. (CLTK)

POT PUSHER c.1660-1800 with CROCK

The pot pusher is basically a semicircular footed bumper with a rear handle; it was used primarily to push hot vessels on the hearth, or to maneuver coals back into the fire area. Note how well the pot pusher was made with the nice rat tail handle.(BLTK/CTE)

EARLY PAIR CAST IRON FEMALE FORM ANDIRONS

This is an interesting pair of cast iron female form andirons with a floral design on the body and a shawl or hooded cape over the head. Note the thickness of the fire dogs which hold the wood. All original and in excellent condition.

BLUE PAINTED MORTAR & PESTLE-18th CENTURY

A beautifully turned and well used mortar and pestle. Note the outstanding form,  the great blue paint with appropriate ware and the numerous rings of various sizes and shapes. These two pieces started together and have never been separated. Touch the two pieces and you can feel the smoothness from extensive use and observe the wonderful patina that comes from extensive use over a very long period of time. (KOTK)

EIGHT DRAWER SPICE CABINET MID-LATE 19th CENTURY

Swivel Toaster (American) 1750-1800

A well designed and impressive American toaster that exhibits two double arches and four open tulip finials. This nicely designed toaster has "penny" feet, a well designed handle and a hanging loop.
