EARLY WOODEN BOWL WITH PUMPKIN PAINT & TWO SIDE HANDLES

FROM A LARGE PRIVATE COLLECTION IN NEW YORK STATE
A UNIQUE PAINTED,FOOTED BOWL WITH HAND SHAPED HANDLES WHICH  ARE ATTACHED WITH HAND CUT SCREWS. WHILE THE IDEA TO ATTACH THE HANDLES WAS A GOOD IDEA TO HELP WITH THE CARRYING OF A BOWL FULL OF PRODUCE ETC.,IT PROBABLY CAUSED THE BOWL TO CRACK. HOWEVER, THE CRACKS HAPPENED A LONG TIME AGO AND NOW THE BOWL APPEARS TO BE  STABLE.
DUE TO THE SHAPE OF THE BOWL, IT WAS PROBABLY ALSO USED AS A DRYING BOWL FOR FRUITS ETC. GREAT PUMPKIN PAINT.

DIAMETER: 15 1/4" X 16 1/4"  (BOWL - NOT COUNTING HANDLES), HEIGHT: 3"
