FISH WEATHERVANE 1790-1840

This FISH WEATHERVANE 1790-1840 was found in Columbia, Pennsylvania. Columbia is in Lancaster County along the Susquehanna River.
It should be noted that although fish motif vanes abound along the waterfront, the fish has long been considered a good luck symbol, and there are many fish vanes on buildings that are far removed from either ocean. (TBLEDE)
