PEERMAN and CANDLEHOLDER 18th CENTURY

A peerman is a device for holding the candle-fir which provided an inexpensive way to illuminate an area. This peerman and candleholder allows the owner to use rush, splints or candles to light a room. One of the nice features of this peerman is that its size(22") allows it to be used on a table or on the floor. The form of the feet and the design of the holder are rather pleasing. While it was used extensively, the condition is remains outstanding. Height: 22". (CTRH)
