Description
This is a wonderful ca:1850 bucket bench. It is maple which may in fact be tiger maple. It was painted at one time and now retains small traces of blue and red paint. Certainly not unattractive. The bench is extremely well made with three mortised shelves and square nails. The one board sides are nicely sculpted and have boot jack feet. Just a solid bench in outstanding condition. (CKDET)
