Description
A nicely made 19th century New England walnut whale tail
shelf. This shelf features dovetail construction in base, dado
joinery, square nails and a early finish (probably original).
With the exception of a very minor 1″ loss on bottom shelf,
the shelf is in excellent condition. Shrinkage required some
additional nails to be added over the years and as a result the
shelf is sturdy and strong.(HEDE)
