Description
One of our favorite early lighting devices. This is an example of a tin drum Tinderbox with period striker, flint, and damping disc to extinguish the tinder and keep it dry. The flint and striker are normally keep on top of the disc inside the drum. Note the candle holder has a punch-out hole and is tabbed.
