A great looking small (18 1/2”L x 11”W x 9 5/8”) dovetailed blanket chest with original till, paint, lock (no key) and hinges. This ca.1840 chest is a true 6 board with two battens on the lid. The limited use of sponge paint adds to the overall attractiveness of this painted piece. As one can tell from the photos, the chest is in excellent condition. (HTEDDE)
