Description

Bed smoothers were drawn over early beds (feather etc.) to smooth them.
Whenever we look at bed smoothers most of them are less than 36″ heavy and thick. This is the longest one we have ever seen and by the wear on the handle and sides it was well used. There is some wear on one and a hanging hole. However considering these and use as well as the delicate features it is in outstanding condition. Part of the Helen Marler collection.
