Description
A large hanging/table top painted pipe box from the early/middle 19th century. The box utilizes square nail construction with a dovetailed drawer. The paint is original and the drawer has the original pull. The sculpted back is topped with a lollipop hanging hole and the sides are nicely carved. An unusual feature is the built -in pipe rack for the smaller pipes which also leaves space for larger pipes in the back. While the box has the expected ware, it is in wonderful condition.
