Description
The Uncrested Tappit Hen Measures have been made from the middle of the 1600s to the middle of the 1800s. This measure is marked PERIAL (imperial?)on the bottom. The Imperial Act was signed in 1824. The overall condition is excellent. From the collection of Mary and Stan Lawrence. Mary thought this was the most interesting style and hardest to procure as most pieces are in the hansds of museums and collectors. (MSL)
