UNIQUE PAIR OF GOOSENECK STRAP SCONCES: 1770-1810

Description

This 18th century pair of gooseneck strap sconces are of PA origin. The rectangular back  ribbonlike arm extensions and the crimped drip pans all add to the delightful  form of these sconces. Note the early rectangular “push out” on the side of the candle holder to help remove the candle stub as well as the punched nail holes in the hanging bracket.
