About

Upon retirement we decided to pursue our love of antiques by going into the antique business. Buying and selling antiques would provide us with the opportunity to improve our own collection, expand our knowledge of antiques and meet interesting people with similar interests.

Upon making this decision, we started the hunt for a period home. After two years, the home was found. A circa 1770 farm house in Princeton, New Jersey.

Country Americana works best in this early farm house. Therefore, we search for pre-1850 furnishings that are functional, well constructed, have great and sometimes unique form and wonderful patina. With appreciation for all craftsmen of that period, we travel throughout the east coast to find furniture, wrought iron, early lighting, treenware, pewter, as well as other interesting accessories from that period. We opened our business in the year 2000 and continue to utilize the same criteria in making our purchases for the business as we do for ourselves. We only buy what we like since many of the items wind up in our own collection.

We invite you to peruse our website where we share only a small part of our inventory. If you are interested in viewing all of our inventory, please contact us for an appointment since visitations are by appointment only.
