FLEMISH SPOUT LAMP 18th-19th CENTURY

Description

This is an interesting sheet brass lamp since it has a flat weighted base which permit the lamp to sit on a table and due to flat back of the base and the hanging hole it can also be used as a wall sconce.In this lamp the reservoir and spout snugly fit cup with a matching channel catch the drip. Note also that the cup has a ring on the side to hold a splint or rush to light the wick. Complete and in excellent condition (one small dent on base).
