MID 19TH. CENTURY TIN DOUBLE CANDLE STAND

Description

This New England double candle stand is made of tin in the early to mid 19th. century. The conical base was never meant to be sand weighted as some are. The two candle cups are slotted for easy cleaning and are soldered to the pie crust wax catcher. The candle height is adjustable by sliding the circular spring clamp on the round metal post. The overall height is 24 inches tall and the wax catcher pan is 9 1/4 inches long. The candle light is in very good condition. The candle stand retains its original olive green painted surface.  (TKBE) List Price: $765
