A wonderful pair of ca:1860 lowback armchairs each with curved pillow backs and shaped arm supports above beautifully carved spindles resting on a shaped saddle seat. The saddle seat is supported by attractively turned legs ending in vase shaped feet. Note the turned double stretcher providing additional support. While one might think that with all of the magnificent carvings the chair may not be comfortable, but just sit in it and enjoy total comfort.
