Description
The simplest and earliest rush holders borrowed the counterweight pivoted jaws from the splint holders which were used in an earlier period, The blacksmith embellished this particular rush holder with a twisted stem and shaped counterweight. The turned base shows additional concern with design. 9 5/8”H, 3 5/8” BASE. (DAKET)
