An early 19th century toleware document box with an interesting an unusual decoration.The document box has a nice clean interior and is complete with original hasp and original handle. The original paint which is attributed to Mercy North 1798-1838 (Fly Creek NJ) remains vibrant on all sides. However there is some loss on all the sides. The box is in excellent condition for a piece of this age.(CARL)
