A solid brass lantern with perforated base and top collar, combine with the original glass globe engraved FJL provide a unique and wonderful whale oil lantern. The large brass ring is designed to encircle the arm leaving both hands free. The brass whale oil lamp is removed by compressing two latches recessed in the bottom.
